What is my voice a product of?

My voice is a product of many different places. I was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas so
I developed my country accent young. However, it wasn’t long before I moved to California and then to Arizona. There I picked up a city accent.
I think the differences between the two are very interesting. I personally noticed the difference in the annunciation. I can understand both accents well but I feel the city accent is clearer. I lived in Arizona for quite some time before my return to my hometown.
It’s been interesting because there are both country and city people here. I fit right in with my varying accent. I often switch between the two. But, I am very careful to say y’all instead of you guys. LOL
